Independent Review Organization
The number of fraud and abuse allegations relating to unlawful billing practices continues to increase each year among physicians and larger organizations such as hospitals.
As a result of these allegations, physicians are required to enter into a Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) with the Office of Inspector General (OIG) and must engage in significant compliance efforts over a certain period of time. Physicians required to enter into a CIA must engage an independent review organization (IRO) to review the accuracy of their claims and billing practices.

- Conducts an independent review specific to the CIA
- Evaluates CIA compliance
